Duncan Trussell Podcast: The Ifa Religion

If you have never heard of Duncan Trussell, he is in my opinion, one of the sharpest and funniest comedians of today. He is also a spiritual enthusiast, eloquent and colorful writer, and widely-popular podcaster who hosts an array of progressive thinkers. He makes the most of his broadcast to spread mindfulness. He seems to be at the forefront of this consciousness movement. He has been one of the major inspirations in my life, and for this blog.

In this episode, he interviews friend and fellow comedian Joey Diaz, as well as Earl White, who is a specialist on African spirituality. Here he talks specifically about the Ifa religion. Not only is this podcast SO interesting and beautiful, but it also addresses the concept of “character,” which is essential to understand if we are going to evolve and purify  ourselves.

“May my character not spoil my destiny:”
